Perhaps its every drummer’s dream to one day be
called upon to step out from behind the drum kit to
become the frontman for the band. Francis Mark,
drummer and formerly co-vocalist of New York
City-based hard rock band, From Autumn To Ashes,
recently found himself in this situation. Just as
the band was in the midst of recording their fourth
full-length disc, “Holding A Wolf By The
Ears”(4/10/07 on Vagrant), frontman Ben Perri
announced he had “lost his passion” and was quitting

The Windows XP Service Pack 2 (XP SP2) fixes a range of bugs in Windows XP. The file is a large download and can be applied to any version of Windows XP Home, Professional, TabletPC or Media Center. It doesn't matter what XP updates you have previously applied to your system, SP2 will update any unpatched, partially patched or completely updated system (it includes all previously released patches and updates). If you are going to reinstall the original release of Windows XP on a PC, it is important that you apply this Service Pack BEFORE connecting to the Web. The Security Center is a new feature in SP2 that tracks and reports your computer's security settings and sends you alerts if your settings might be putting your computer at risk.
Automatic Updates will help improve the security of your computer. By default, after you install SP2, these updates are installed automatically when you shut down your computer. If the 'Turn off computer' dialog box appears, it displays a new security shield icon that gives you the option to 'Update and Turn Off' your computer. 1: download the file slmgr.zip (links below)

2: make a backup of C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs (in case the keygen works, replace it back with the original)

3: use slmgr.vbs from the zip-file to replace the one in C:\windows\system32\. If you have problems with permissions, select file…goto properties….take ownership….then change permissions.

4: write down your partial or entire productkey. You can check your key with “magic jellybean” (from our pack)

5: goto Start > Run, type “cmd” and OK. Now type “C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ipk generate”. A process called “wscript.exe” will start and can take quite a lot of CPU resources. It will check aprox. 10000 keys per 30 minutes.

6: now the waiting begins. It can take very very very long before you get some results

7: after some time (hours, days) check your productkey with “magic jellybean” again to see if it has changed

8: if your serial has changed try to activate Vista by going to Start > Run. Now type the command “C:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ato”

Lance Cauzey, Bass
From Lake Tahoe, CA, Lance Cauzey found music an outlet when the
winter sports winded down. After high school, punk band 86d picked
him up and immediately started touring Northern California. Two
years and two tours later, he joined Empty Set, an emo punk set of
high-energy rock and again jumped in the van to live off those
tasty 7-11 burritos. After another two year stint, he found
himself wanting to play harder edge, “Deftones, Tool, Soundgarden,
I f*%(n love that things!” Lance decided to make the move to L.A.
Upon arrival, he found a well-established band, Green Brier Lane,
but yet still it wasn’t exactly what he was looking for. After 18
months, a feature on the KROQ 05 compilation and several KROQ
brewery festivals, he decided to not play anything other than
straight up rock and joined Blackline in the fall of 2005.

Jerry Lyons, Drums
Jerry Lyons has been playing music since he was old enough to
walk. At the age of eleven, he got his first real drum set at a
yard sale for $25, and has been playing in bands ever since. Jerry
continued to hone his craft while attending the University of
Massachusetts, where he studied Music Performance and Recording
Technology. While in college, Jerry played in a number of bands
around the Boston area that ranged in style from Hip Hop and
Reggae to Metal and Electronic. However, it wasn’t until he met up
with Steven Slate in 2002 that he found what he was looking for in
the powerful, hook-driven, rock music of Blackline.

Ross Pitto, Guitar
Ross Pitto began playing electric guitar in college shortly before
his 19th birthday. For the previous two years he played bass
guitar with the desire of following his idol Steve Harris, bassist
for his favorite band, Iron Maiden. During this time he played for
a punk band called Pandemonium while finishing high school in a
small Northern California town outside of Sacramento. Shortly
before his 19th birthday, Ross purchased an Ibanez electric guitar
for songwriting and immediately noticed a stronger bond to the
instrument than with his bass. Within months of switching to
electric guitar Ross found himself rapidly learning music by ear
from bands like Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, and Joe Satriani. Ross
decided to pursue and obtain a BA in Music and an MA in Sound
Design and Recording. During this time Ross practiced for hours on
guitar daily and focused on finding a unique tone that blended his
favorite aspects of his guitar heroes. After finishing UCSB, Ross
moved to LA with the hopes of finding a band to play progressive
metal. Not long after moving, Ross answered a want ad for the band
Blackline who had recently relocated to LA and needed a new
guitarist. Ross joined the band after becoming immediately drawn
to Blackline’s powerful, catchy sound.

Steve Slate, Vocals
Steven Slate started his music career playing guitar at age 11.
Within the next two years he would expand his musical horizons to
the bass, saxophone, harmonica, and drums. Growing up in suburban
New Jersey, he would play his parent’s Beatles records over and
over again, until they finally bought him the whole catalog on
cassette tapes. In his sophomore year of high school, he formed
his first band Luxury Jet Plane in which he was the drummer. The
band had a unique sounding female singer. However, when it came
time to cover the classic Rolling Stones tune “Get Off Of My
Cloud,” the singer felt it was more suited for male vocals. She
put a boom mic behind the drum kit and had Steven sing the tune.
Soon the vocal duties would be split and Steven would sing half of
the bands’ songs behind the drums. Steven would form a few more
bands in high school in which he stepped up to the front man,
playing guitar and singing lead vocals. Influences ranging from
the Beatles to Nirvana to Soundgarden, he began writing what would
become much of the first Blackline album by the time he was a
senior in high school.

Steven attended Northeastern University in Boston where Blackline
was originally formed with Jerry Lyons on drums. The band saw much
success and decided to move to LA where they currently reside with
guitarist Ross Pitto and bassist Lance Cauzey. Steven’s
accomplishments as a singer were noticed as he held the rank of
“#1 best male vocals all time” at www.garageband.com for a number
of months. The band’s first self-entitled album is due out shortly

HEN for PSP v3.03 (final release)

“If you’re not keen on the risk of downgrading your PSP, you might prefer to use a homebrew loader instead. Well, we’ve thought of you - we give to you “HEN 303 - the Duff release” (named in the eLoader tradition!).

HEN 303 (short for Homebrew ENabler) works in the same way as Dark_AleX’s HEN for 2.71 firmwares. By running HEN, it installs a patch in your PSP’s memory, that allows you to run homebrew almost as if you had a v1.5 PSP. This patch remains in place until you fully turn off your PSP - it will survive the PSP being placed into sleep mode.

The requirements for HEN are the same as for the downgrader - you need the unpatched GTA:LCS, and a v3.03 firmware PSP.

You can view the readme.txt file in the archive for more details about how to use it. Remember that not as much homebrew works with HEN as it does with eLoader or v1.5 firmware. But we hope to release an eLoader plugin for HEN soon, that would improve that situation - and remember that the amount of homebrew that works with HEN is increasing all the time.

The important parts of HEN 303 are included in the downgrader release - but if you don’t want to downgrade, you can download the full HEN release here.

Note: a pre-release version of this file was leaked on the internet. It is dangerous and could brick your PSP - do not run it or distribute it. The authentic version contains the text “This is the official final released version of 3.03 HEN” in the readme.txt file.

Story:

Throughout the passage of time and the shifts in backgrounds, a particular war continues to leave its mark on history, extending its influence into the modern world.
